Finding the right skincare routine for you may take some time as you are getting to know your skin’s likes and dislikes. But ultimately we all want healthy skin that is not too high maintenance. if that what you want to then you came to the right place. This post will tell you how to keep your skin looking healthy all day long. You do not need expensive skin care products or tools to keep it healthy. Below quick skincare routine contains product you can find in your kitchen which could save you some money whilst still achieving the results you desire!
4 Step Skincare Routine
This 4 step skin care routine to how to keep your skin looking healthy all day long can be broken down as follows:
- Double- cleansing (once with oil, second with water)
1.(Step one of double cleansing) Oil Based Cleanser
In my opinion there is nothing better than oil to use as an oil-based cleanser, right? I use a mini-bottle in which I put Olive oil with a few drops of tea tree oil and occasionally a few drops of jojoba oil.
-Apply the mixture on a cotton pad and apply all over your face.
2.(Step two of double cleansing) Water Based Cleanser-
For this step I simply use water and some face soap I have available at the time.
-Apply the soap onto your face in circle motions outwards, when your are about to rinse your face using lukewarm water make sure to get all the soap off.

Q.Why Is double cleansing good for your skin?
Double cleansing allows the first cleanser to get rid of dirt from the day and the second cleanser will play more of a hydrating as well as cleaning job.
There are so many toners out there, personally Apple cider vinegar is my favourite. Since it is vinegar it does not smell the greatest which is why I only do this step before bed.
-Apply some Apple cider vinegar onto a cotton pad and apply all over your face in an outwards motion.
Apple cider is great toner as it balances the skin’s pH levels and plays the great role of a toner, which is to: cleanse and tighten the skin, protecting it from impurities as well as bacteria.
It contains Vitamin C, a great antioxidant which will protect your skin’s collagen protected.
After double cleansing and toning it is now time to hydrate your face! Get your favourite facial cream and using a cotton pad spread it across your face making sure you whole face is moisturised.
(5.)Extra: An extra step which is totally optional, is to use a face roller. I leave mine in the freezer and use it twice a day (morning and evening) after both of my skincare routine.

-I came across face rollers due to watching quiet a lot of K-dramas where skincare routine were occasionally shown. Face rollers improve and reduce puffiness, help blood circulation and will cool and soothe your skin. The healthline.com says: “If you store your roller in the refrigerator or use a naturally cold stone like jade, it’ll cool the skin on contact. This can quickly de-puff your skin and tighten pores.”
